Warranty Returns

If a product you have purchased develops a fault as a result of a manufacturing defect within the manufacturer’s warranty period, in the first instance you should contact us in order to begin registering a warranty claim with the supplier/manufacturer.

You should provide your order number, product brand & part number, vehicle details, as well as detailed description of the fault, as well as any photo evidence.

For Nissens products, a photo of the silver sticker (on the product, showing the Nissens logo, part number, and ‘A’ and ‘B’ batch codes) will be required as well.

Once the claim has been logged, we will advise on the next steps to be taken, whether that be providing a replacement, or arranging for the item to be returned to the manufacturer for warranty inspection.

Compressor warranty claims

In the vast majority of cases, compressors do not usually fail by themselves, these failures are often caused by the failure of another component. When replacing a failed compressor, it is vitally important to determine the cause of the failure and to remedy that, otherwise any replacement compressor will usually shortly fail afterwards as well.

Warranty terms for compressors are quite strict, and in 97% of cases warranty claims are rejected, with the common cause of failure being due to improper installation.

Compressors returned under warranty will require a completed warranty form, as well as copies of the work order or garage invoice to be supplied. The unit will need to be returned to our supplier for their inspection and assessment, before any replacement or refund can be provided.
